AutoPay Authorization

AutoPay allows Alderwood Water and Wastewater District (AWWD) to withdraw the amount due on the due date of the current billing from the your checking or savings account. AutoPay cannot be used for a one time automatic withdrawal. You may not make Payment Arrangements when using AutoPay. AutoPay can be removed at anytime per your signed authorization. Closing bills will not be setup for AutoPay. Closing bills will need to be paid by check or cash. AutoPay will be removed from the account when withdrawals from the bank are rejected and the account will be charged a penalty.

An AutoPay message prints on your statement. The first billing on AutoPay is sent to your bank as a pre-note to verify everything is setup correctly, and no actual dollar amounts are drawn from your account. During this period you will need to pay by check or cash. Another billing cycle will have to occur before AutoPay becomes effective. Any change in bank information requires a new pre-note transaction.

To establish AutoPay on an account with AWWD you must provide the following:

  1. Return completed and signed Authorization Form to:

    Fax: (425) 742-4562
  2. Provide a voided check on the bank account the payments are to be drawn from (along with the savings routing number and account number if withdrawals are to come from a savings account).
